Organization Description:We are a Short Term Residential Treatment Program serving 13-18 years old clients who are in out of home placement. We serve emotionally disturbed youth with a trauma informed approach.
Job Description:The STRTP (Short Term Residential Treatment Program) Facility Manager oversees the STRTP homes and ensures they are functioning in a professional, organized, and efficient manner. This position ensures that the house is in compliance with all licensing regulations and Open Line Group Homes Policy and Procedures. The Facility Manager is to ensure all Open Line Group Homes STRTP residents are well taken care of, needs are being met, and residents are supervised in all activities.
---Reports to: STRTP AdministratorJob Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour Responsibilities and Duties:

• Manage the day-to-day operation of the STRTP
• Supervise and support children and youth.
• Supervise Direct Care staff in the administration of their duties.
• General inspection of facility and logging of maintenance needs, repairs, and utility set ups.
• Monitor residents' academics, attendance, and school performance.
• Submit requests to the office for any household shopping which includes groceries, miscellaneous household items, and any clothing needed for each resident.
• Implement and set daily STRTP schedules that include study times, meal plans, chore list, room inspections, etc.
• Ensure that the Reasonable and Prudent Parent Standard is applied to decisions regarding the participation of residents in activities.
• Communicate to STRTP staff any schedule changes, resident updates, household maintenance, office request, etc.
• Provide crisis intervention to residents.
• Ensure the collection of required documentation for residents.
• Approve activities and outings proposed by staff and residents.
• Ensure that inventory is taken of any new resident's belongings.
• Contribute to progress notes about STRTP residents. Physical and Other Requirements:
  • At least 2 years of experience working with foster youth or similar population
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
  • Multi task and handle changing priorities gracefully
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Satisfy the Department of Social Services and Department of Justice's fingerprint clearance requirements
  • Holds a valid California Driver's License and clear driving record (DMV printout required)
  • Access to a reliable and insured vehicle
  • Negative T.B. Test
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Must be able to drive a company car Competencies:
