Harbor Wholesale seeks an experienced sales leader for our Eureka north - Northern California Coastal Territory. $100-120K DOE/DOP The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is designated as the primary driver for bringing new customers to Harbor Wholesale within their assigned region. We are looking for someone with proven prospecting and closing skills who is passionate about helping customers be successful. Being able to develop and take relationships to the next level is criticalAbility to build and maintain long term relationships with Key Customers secured within the regionJOB RESPONSIBILITIESSet appointments with prospective customers.Represent and sell Harbor programs professionally and effectively.Must be able to prepare and deliver verbal sales presentations to both current and prospective customers.Must be self-motivated with the ability to excel with minimal supervision.Maintain an accurate call list of accounts with details for required action, order call day, contact information and opportunities.Meet monthly with Regional Sales Manager to discuss sales performance objectivesSet targets for new customer account acquisition and implement strategy to secure the business. Work with Regional Sales Manager to ensure Regional sales targets are met.Seek contacts with existing chain / key customers, to meet objectives in retention and further account development.Set targets for new customer account acquisition and implement strategy to secure the business.Work collectively with Regional Sales Manager across the entire Eureka - north region to produce and close profitable business.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESEffective and proven negotiation skills are a must.Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.Ability to persuade and influence others effectively, in a tactful and professional manner.TSM must be a team player, with an ability to solve complex problems working with a team of peers at Harbor Wholesale.A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or Psychology is preferred.Work requires travel, primarily in assigned region.The position requires the ability to conduct business while on the road using mobile technology.Experience in Microsoft Office products and the use of mobile technology required.Knowledge and sales experience within the convenience store industry a must.Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, reliable and presentable transportation and required insurance.Knowledge of Territory.
