VHS is looking for an Interventional Radiologist in Redding, CA!

Schedule: Coverage of urgent onsite diagnostic procedures requiring the use of fluoroscopy.
24hr call Sat/Sun OR Friday 5p-Monday 5p coverage for weekends

  • Credentialing Timeframe: 30 days if eligible for temporary/locum tenens privileges
    
    Diagnostic/Nuclear Medicine Radiology Qualifications:
    -Applicants must be Board Certified (or in the certification process) by the American Board of Radiology.
    -As required by the Calif. Dept. of Public Health Radiologic Health Branch, and Title 17 of the Calif. Code of Regulations, the Radiologist must obtain and maintain an X-Ray Supervisor and Operator's Certificate.
    Procedural Sedation:
    MODERATE SEDATION / ANALGESIA (CONSCIOUS SEDATION)
    Definition: A drug-induced depression of consciousness during which patients respond purposefully to verbal commands, either alone or accompanied by light tactile stimulation. No interventions are required to maintain a patent airway, and spontaneous ventilation is adequate. Cardiovascular function is usually maintained.
    *Physicians requesting this privilege must be ACLS certified. Must adhere to Sedation/Analgesia Protocols (for Adult & Pediatrics)
