Job Description:

The Operating Room RN is responsible for assisting surgeons in the operating room. Operating Room RNs will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all medical equipment is clean and working correctly.Responsibilities:Operating Room RN responsibilities consist of:

Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.
Anticipate what the surgeons need and hand medical instruments and supplies to them during operations.
Collecting and tracking all items needed for laboratory examinations.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Operating Room RN within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
