Embrace the vibrant local culture and enriching experiences this beautiful city has to offer! We are currently hiring an experienced Travel CT Technologist for an assignment in California. This role requires flexibility to perform both CT and general X-ray duties, along with the ability to start IVs, operate independently, and work collaboratively with other clinical teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded tech looking to join a supportive and fast-paced hospital environment. Key Responsibilities: -Perform computed tomography (CT) and general diagnostic X-ray exams according to physician orders and department protocols -Start IV lines and administer contrast agents as necessary -Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging while ensuring patient comfort and safety -Operate GE, Siemens, or Philips scanners (based on facility), and utilize PACS for imaging review and transmission -Work independently while effectively communicating with radiologists, nurses, and physicians -Maintain documentation and quality control records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards -Ensure radiation safety procedures are followed for patients and staff At Sable Corporation, we connect RNs, CNAs, and allied health professionals with contract and per diem opportunities at hospitals across California.
