Establish a Thoracic Surgery Program in Redding! Shasta Regional Medical Center , a 226-bed acute care facility and a proud member of the Prime Healthcare system, is seeking a Cardiovascular Surgeon to join its hospital-owned multi-specialty group in Redding, California. This is an exceptional opportunity to establish and lead a thoracic surgery program in a supportive, patient-focused environment with access to advanced technology and strong clinical support. Position Highlights Employment: Hospital-owned multi-specialty group or 1099 independent contractor Practice Scope: Cardiothoracic and thoracic surgery including TAVR, daVinci robotic procedures, CABG, AVR, MVR, and AAA repair Schedule: 3 weeks ON, 1 week OFF (procedures and hospital availability required during ON weeks) Call: ON weeks only Setting: Mix of inpatient and outpatient, with on-site clinic Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $462,460 $649,347 (dependent on employment setup) Productivity bonus Health insurance: Self-funded EPO (HMO) plan at no cost to provider Retirement plan: 401(k) CME allowance Relocation reimbursement Sign-on bonus Malpractice insurance coverage About Shasta Regional Medical Center Shasta Regional Medical Center is a 226-bed acute care facility serving Northern California, offering comprehensive services including emergency medicine, surgery, cardiovascular care, and neurosciences.
