Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 3 years in ICU License: Valid state nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Experience with patient ratios of 1:2 - Previous charge experience preferred - Proficiency in charting with Epic preferred Description: Registered Nurse needed in the Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of ICU experience. Candidates must be familiar with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:2. Experience as a charge nurse is preferred. Proficiency in using the Epic charting system is preferred. The role involves caring for patients with diverse needs and critical conditions. Candidates will need to manage complex clinical cases, including ventilated patients. Experience in multi-system organ dysfunction and cardiac recovery is a plus. The position requires the ability to administer medications, including blood products. There will be expectations for arterial line management and central line care. Strong critical thinking and assessment skills are necessary. Ability to collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team is essential. Candidates should be prepared to float between similar units as needed. Commitment to working during major holidays is required.
