IMMEDIATELY HIRING PARAMEDICS IN EUREKA AND LAKEPORT AREAS ! surrounded by places to hike, hunt, fish, paddleboard, kayak, bike, surf and dive? If you want some sun, you’re a 30 minute drive to summer temperatures in the 90 to 100’s on the Trinity River. City Ambulance, owned and supported by Global Medical Response just celebrated its 50th Year Anniversary. We are a community based ambulance service covering the large rural county that is very involved in the community. Competitive annualized rates $81,900-$89,180 based on working all regularly scheduled shifts. We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers. Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols. Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care. Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed. Drive the ambulance on 911 responses. Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics. Participate in community programs to maintain City Ambulance and GMR image and establish strong community relations. High school diploma or equivalent (GED) State Paramedic License Driving record compliant with company policy Some work experience, preferably healthcare Global Medical Response (GMR) and its family of solutions are dedicated to delivering compassionate, quality medical care, primarily in the areas of emergency and patient relocation services.
