Job Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist
with 2 years of experience and required ARRT, Fluoro Permit, BLS,
and ACLS certifications. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care
hospital cath lab - Perform procedures related to coronary artery
disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias
including coronary and peripheral diagnostic and intervention, and
permanent pacemakers - Daily caseload ranges from 8 to 12 cases -
Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM - No
weekend shifts required - Call is required as part of the job
responsibilities - No floating within the hospital, but may be
required to float to affiliate hospitals nearby - EMR used is Epic,
and Epic experience is required - First-time travelers are welcome
to apply - Travelers may be expected to float between the main
facility and nearby affiliated facilities as needed - Orientation
includes 30 hours - Scrubs are provided for OR and Cath Lab staff -
Holiday coverage for 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving,
Christmas, New Year) is required - Return staff must be separated
for at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must live
outside a 50-mile radius - Local candidates are accepted at a lower
rate with a 50-mile local radius rule in effect - RTO must be
approved at time of consideration - Candidates will have access to
facility resources for housing assistance if needed Requirements -
Minimum of 2 years of recent cath lab experience required - Current
ARRT certification is required; RCIS not accepted - Current BLS and
ACLS certifications are required - Valid CA Fluoro Permit required,
pending permit will be considered if already applied for - Must
provide at least 2 supervisory references within the past 3 years
in a comparable specialty - Must be able to work with adult patient
