Traveler is hiring an experienced Cath Lab RN with a valid CA
license and advanced cardiovascular certifications for a
hospital-based role in Eureka, California. Responsibilities - Work
in the Cath Lab of an acute care hospital - Daily caseload ranges
from 8 to 12 cases - Procedures include coronary
diagnostic/intervention, peripheral diagnostic/intervention, and
permanent pacemaker placement - Day shifts, 4x10 hours, typically
8:30am to 5:00pm - Weekend shifts required - On-call required as
part of the schedule - Epic EMR system is used and prior experience
is required - Scrubs provided in the Cath Lab - Travelers may float
between the hospital and affiliate facilities - Primary
responsibilities include assisting with coronary, peripheral, and
cardiac arrhythmia procedures - Must be willing to work at least 2
out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year -
First-time travelers are welcome to apply - 30 hours of orientation
provided - Housing assistance may be available for those struggling
to secure accommodations - Former staff must wait 3 months before
returning as a traveler - Request for time off must be pre-approved
at time of consideration - Free parking is provided initially, with
assigned parking given during orientation - Modules averaging 16
hours to be completed pre-start and annually Requirements - Active
CA RN license required - At least 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience
required - Current BLS and ACLS certifications required - Valid
ARRT certification and Fluoro Permit required (RCIS only not
accepted) - Epic EMR experience required - Willing to consider
candidates with a pending Fluoro Permit if already applied - Locals
within 50 miles accepted at local rate - Must provide at least 2
supervisory references covering 1 year of comparable specialty
