Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CT Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/17/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, evenings - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and CT proficiency for a fast-paced acute care environment. Responsibilities - Work in an acute care, Level II Trauma diagnostic radiology department - Assignment includes both inpatient and outpatient cases, with experience in the OR and ER required - Use of Cerner EMR and Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 equipment - Evening shifts on Mon-Wed from 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM every other week - CT experience is a requirement for this position - Must be prepared to work holidays as needed - Orientation includes 1-2 shifts in the department - Scrub color is teal; OR scrubs provided when working in the operating room - Position includes working with C-arms in the OR - Radiologist is on-site until 6 PM, then on-call - Department is well-staffed, but resources may be more limited on night shifts - Candidates must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment - First-time travelers will be considered for this assignment - Level II trauma experience is preferred, but not required Requirements - Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiology Technologist - CT experience required - Active ARRT (R), BLS, and Fluoroscopy certifications required through the state of CA - License required if applicable - Experience with Cerner EMR preferred - Ability to work confidently in a fast-paced, high acuity trauma setting is essential - Must be a self-starter able to work independently - Providing a copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration - Two professional references required: one from a supervisor within the last 12 months, and one from a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years (including dates of employment and rehire eligibility) Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630386.
