Radiology Technologist - Radiology Diagnostic - Relocation
Assistance Offered at Providence Health and Services summary: The
Radiology Technologist performs advanced diagnostic imaging
procedures under supervision, collaborating with radiologists and
providing patient care in a hospital setting. They participate in
quality control, act as role models for less experienced staff, and
may travel to off-campus locations for imaging services. The role
requires certification and licensure, as well as experience in
hospital-based radiography. Description Under the direction of the
Department Director, supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, and
in collaboration with the radiologists, performs advanced technical
diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing
age-specific criteria according to department standards. Serves as
a customer service representative to patients, their families, the
public, and the medical staff. Participates in quality control and
organizational improvement activities. Is a technical and clinical
role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the
department. Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of
the department. Travels to and from off-campus locations to perform
radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when requested. Providence

them. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of a
program in radiologic technology approved by the Committee on
Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the American Medical
Association. California Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National
Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National
Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
upon hire. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a hospital-based

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job

pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
