MRI Technologist - Per Diem at Providence Health and Services
summary: The MRI Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital
performs diagnostic magnetic resonance imaging procedures,
following departmental and clinical standards to ensure
high-quality patient care. This per diem role involves working
variable 12-hour shifts, supporting radiologists, and participating
in quality control activities. Candidates must be nationally
certified and provide compassionate service in a reputable
healthcare environment. Description MRI Technologist in MRI Unit at
St Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is Per Diem and will

Manager the day-to-day supervision of the Lead Technologist and in
close collaboration with the Radiologists, the MRI Technologist
performs a variety of magnetic resonance-based diagnostic imaging
procedures and related activities according to department standards
utilizing age-specific criteria. Serves as a customer service
representative to patients, their families, the public, and the
medical staff. Participates in quality control and organizational
improvement activities. Serves as a clinical and technical resource
to other technologists and to the radiologists. Participates in
call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department. Providence

them. Required Qualifications: Upon hire: National Registered
Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging or Upon hire: National
Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic
Resonance Imaging Technologists. Upon hire: National Provider BLS -
American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in radiologic technology
approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education &
Accreditation of the American Medical Association. California
Radiologic Technologist License (CRT). 5 years Experience as the
primary technologist in a high volume MRI facility. Why Join

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range
for this position will be determined based upon relevant job
experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base
pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role,
