This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced gastroenterologists to contribute to comprehensive patient management, complex procedures, and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional outpatient and inpatient Gastroenterology services, including advanced procedures such as ERCP. Conduct detailed patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based care. Participate in night call rotations, weekend coverage, and after-hours emergencies as scheduled. Ensure timely completion of procedures, documentation, and compliance with hospital policies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Required Skills: Active California medical license and DEA registration. Board certification or board eligibility in Gastroenterology within five years of residency. Proven proficiency in ERCP and fluoroscopy techniques. Excellent clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekday clinic hours and night/weekend call shifts. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with temporary fluoroscopy licenses. Prior hospital-based clinical practice of at least two years in Gastroenterology. Experience managing complex cases and performing advanced endoscopic procedures. Familiarity with hospital privileging and credentialing processes. Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of a recognized residency and Fellowship in Gastroenterology. Minimum of two years of current hospital outpatient/inpatient GI practice. Other Requirements: Availability to start from May 1, 2026. Commitment to maintaining licensure, certifications, and privileging requirements. Flexibility to accommodate shift schedules including day, night, and weekend coverage. Knowledge of applicable compliance, safety standards, and documentation protocols.
