This position requires someone with a strong knowledge of mammography procedures and a compassionate approach to patient care. Shift Details Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 17:30) Patient Ratios: Days: 1:3 | Nights: 1:0 | Weekends: 1:0 Daily Census: Approximately 30 patients Qualifications Years of Experience: 1 year Required Certifications: BLS ARRT ARRT Advanced California License Preferred Skills: 3-D Mammography Diagnostic Mammograms Fine Needle Aspiration Needle Localizations Screening Mammograms Stereotactic Biopsy Equipment Used Hologic 3D Hologic Affirm BX Charting System Epic Job Responsibilities The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for performing various mammography procedures, assisting in patient care, and ensuring a comfortable experience for all patients. The role includes maintaining a clean and organized work environment and adhering to safety and isolation precautions. Facility Highlights Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 150 Number of Rooms: 2 Parking: Free parking available on the first day; assignment parking given during orientation. Scrub Color: Dark solid colors for Radiology staff. Additional Information There is no requirement to float between units, and all requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application. The facility allows for one shift to be canceled every two weeks. Patient Demographics This position will primarily focus on adult and geriatric patient populations.
