Cardiovascular Technologist Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,662 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Echo Tech Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: New Grad OK License: Pending State License accepted (must be obtained within 4 weeks of submission) Certifications: BLS, ARDMS, CCI RCSS Must-Have: - Skills in Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Emergency Department, ICU - Proficient in 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), Treadmill Stress Echo - Familiar with Simpson’s Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area - Experience with GE, Hitachi, PACS, Philips, Siemens, SonoSite, Toshiba Description: The role is for an Echo Tech with the potential for permanent placement. Candidates must be open to transitioning into a permanent role. This position is suited for caregivers ready to take a staff role. The facility is open to either a 13-week or 26-week contract initially. Years of experience required and first-time applicants are welcome. No weekend or on-call requirements are necessary. Candidates will not need to float between units. Locals are accepted and there is no weekend coverage required. Daily patient census is approximately 8. The unit includes 1 room and 1 bed. There is interdisciplinary support available and interpretation services. Patient age groups include adults and geriatrics. Minimum supervisory references are required covering recent employment. Travelers are expected to comply with floating policies between facilities. All providers must be equipped with communication devices for assignment duties.
