Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT, Fluoro Permit Must-Have: 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting, with a preference for candidates who have experience with the procedures listed below. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and may be required to be on call. First-timers are accepted. Description: Responsible for providing nursing care in a Cath Lab setting. Daily caseload typically ranges from 8 to 12 patients. Engage in procedures for coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias. Involves both diagnostic and interventional procedures. Proficient in the use of various devices and techniques relevant to the specialty. Roles include monitoring patient status and assisting with invasive cardiovascular procedures. Must understand and implement infection control protocols. Candidates should be familiar with charting systems, specifically Epic. Expected to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support staff. Willingness to float between facilities may be required.
