Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Redding, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,248 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/3/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, Evening Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, COVID Vaccine Required Must-Have: Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine Description: The unit consists of 10 suites, with cases ranging from 25 to 45 per day. Certifications required include BLS and ACLS. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 to 1. The electronic medical record system used is Cerner Surginet. The clinical supervisor is the direct report for charge nurses. An OR director and manager are present. Operating room technicians are available. Weekend coverage is handled through on-call duty. Holiday coverage is also managed through on-call duty. On-call requirements include 1 to 2 weeknights per week. Weekend call is approximately once a month from the end of shift Friday until 6:30 am Monday. Scrubs are provided by the facility. Telemetry is provided by Philips. Ventilator support is available. There is no in-house hospitalist or intensivist. Respiratory therapy services are available 24/7. Pharmacy services are available 24/7. Shifts may also include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour schedules. Common diagnoses and types of patients include all except transplant cases. The unit handles general cases, vascular, thoracic, neuro, ENT, some plastics, heavy orthopedic, and sports medicine. Candidates must possess strong experience with total joints, general surgery, vascular, and spine procedures. The cancellation policy allows for the facility to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment and 3 shifts for assignments less than 13 weeks. Charting is performed using Cerner. A BSN is not required. Trauma level is 2. The care setting is acute. The division is nursing. Shift notes indicate varied start times and include on-call duties, as well as every other weekend requirements.
