Description Lead Cardiovascular Technologist at Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka, CA. This position is full time and will work 10-hour, Day shifts. Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Tech assumes responsibility for limited supervisory activities in the department. The Lead Tech is technically and/or clinically competent, demonstrates and adheres to department standards, and serves as an administrative, clinical and/or technical resource to department staff. Clinical and/or technical responsibilities account for 75% or more of worked hours. Able to perform the competency standards of the Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program in Radiology Imaging Technologist approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association. Upon hire: California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 2 years experience as a hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist. 2 years Cath Lab experience. Preferred Qualifications: Upon hire: Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International Supervisory experience. Why Join Providence?
