find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Fortuna, California,
95540! Job Opportunity – Medical ICU Registered Nurse – Northern
California Start Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Fortuna, California
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
12-hour shifts; 2 weekends out of 4 off (weekend defined as 2
consecutive days Friday–Sunday); must work 2 out of 3 major
holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) Highlights: Acute care
facility seeking Medical ICU RN with a patient ratio of 2:1 Low
average daily census of 4 patients for more focused, quality care
Epic charting system experience required 12-hour orientation
provided; interdisciplinary support including PT, respiratory
services, pharmacy, and radiology Work with adult and geriatric
patient populations Call may be required for low census situations
Requirements: Valid California RN license (pending license
accepted) Minimum 1 year of nursing experience Current
certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Epic charting system experience
required Clinical skills including: arterial line management,
ventilator management, central line/PICC care, vasoactive and
cardiac drip titration, blood product administration, ABG
interpretation, BiPAP/CPAP management, and management of
dysrhythmias Experience with GI surgery and accessing/managing
ports preferred Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year
of employment within comparable specialty/setting Must reside
outside 50-mile local radius No more than 7 consecutive days of
