Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 03/16/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Description & Requirements/n /nRegistered Respiratory Therapist - (RRT)/n /nStartDate: 3/16/2026 /nAvailable Shifts: 12 N /nPay Rate: $2115.00 - $2180.00 /n /n- Unit: RT/n/nmust have travel experience and 2-5 years' experience in critical care/n/n- beds: Covers all areas of hospital except NICU - this includes ER, ICU, pediatric medsurg, and all other medsurg/tele areas/n- Certs: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS - NPS if want to work in NICU, state of CA requires RRT (will not accept CRT)/n- EMR: Cerner/n- Charge Nurse: Charge RT on 24/7/n- Weekend Requirement: every other/n- Holidays: one major holiday required/n- Scrub Color: Black/n- Tele: GE/n- Vents: Hamilton, G5, C1, MR1, Galileo's/n- Hospitalist or Intensivist in house: Hospitalist 24/7/n- IV Team: NO/n- RT 24/7: Yes/n- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes/n- Shifts: 12 hrs 6-630, weekends are assigned, some flexibility for week schedules, schedules made out about 3-4 weeks in advance/n- Floating: To all areas except NICU/n- Floor specific orientation: 2 days/n- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: common duties include breathing treatments, ABG's, EKG's, etc./n- Additional Notes: must have travel experience and 2-5 years' experience in critical care, duties and equipment includes interpulm percussion, high flow neonatal nasal cannula, heli-ox, aero-gen nebulizers, non invasive ventilation./n/n Required Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist, Adult Experience: 1 year Licenses: RT-CA(Copy needed) Certifications: RRT-NBRC(Copy Needed); BLS-AHA(Copy Needed); ACLS-AHA(Copy Needed); PALS-AHA(Copy Needed) SSN Required DOB Required Work History: Should not be more than 30 days of gap in entire work history References: 2 References in the last 12 months/n/n/n Facility Location Redding is a city located off Interstate 5 and between the Canadian and Mexican borders.
