Required Skills: Active California medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine within the past 5 years (ABEM/ABEOM certified) Minimum of 2 years of current hospital-based clinical experience in emergency medicine Ability to handle an average of 110 patients in a 24-hour period Current case logs for surgical specialties (if applicable) Clear explanation of any gaps in clinical activity greater than 3 months Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments Nice to Have Skills: Additional certifications such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Experience with trauma cases or specialized emergency procedures Knowledge of hospital electronic medical records systems Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution 1-3 years of hospital emergency medicine experience Recent experience working within hospital emergency departments Other Requirements: Availability to work night shifts exclusively (a $25/hour night shift incentive applies) Willingness to work guaranteed hours (8 hours minimum) with pre-approval for any overtime beyond 12 hours Ability to adhere to travel reimbursement policies (excluding mileage and ride-share costs from home to airports) Compliance with all hospital and state-specific licensing and employment regulations Take the next step in your emergency medicine career by applying today!
