Radiation Therapist Location: Eureka, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,295 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Radiation Therapist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Radiation Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT T Must-Have: - Previous experience in radiation therapy - Ability to float between similar units - Familiarity with Epic charting system - Ability to work with various patient populations including adults and geriatrics Description: This position requires a radiation therapist for day shifts. The hours for this position are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are accepted for this role. Certifications required for this position include BLS and ARRT T. The qualified candidate may be required to float between similar units as needed. RTO must be included during the application process. This facility follows a policy of guaranteeing hours with occasional call-offs. The daily patient census is expected to be approximately 35 visits. Interdisciplinary support will include various services such as respiratory and social services. The patient population will include individuals with diagnoses such as breast, prostate, and lung cancer. The therapist may be required to utilize special equipment and techniques in treatment. Candidates should expect to partake in both routine and emergency care procedures. Working during holidays will be expected, with a requirement to cover two out of three major holidays. The position allows for local candidates within a defined radius. References from supervisory roles covering recent employment in the specialty are necessary. Completion of required modules prior to the start date is needed. This role requires flexibility and a commitment to patient care in a relevant clinical setting.
