Astound is seeking a skilled Broadband Technician to join our team, dedicated to ensuring optimal functioning of our cutting-edge telecommunications equipment. This role involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadband internet, phone, and cable services, ensuring our residential and business customers enjoy high-quality connectivity. Install, upgrade and repair broadband communications systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with internet, cable, and telephony services. Educate customers on the use and benefits of their services and technology. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures. Maintain accurate records of installations, service work, and visits. Collaborate with customer service and support teams to ensure optimal customer satisfaction. Proficiency in handling and fixing modern telecommunications technology. Strong understanding of wired and wireless network architecture, components, and operations. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders and poles. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Driver's License Certification in Telecommunications, Network Cabling, or a related field is preferred.
