This role is crucial in installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal performance and reliability of fiber-based internet, phone, and cable services, contributing to our mission of providing innovative solutions and reliable connectivity. Install, maintain, and repair fiber optic cables and systems Perform regular system tests and troubleshoot issues to ensure functionality Collaborate with other team members to design and implement network enhancements Educate and advise on the proper maintenance and operation of fiber systems Document technical procedures and reports for system maintenance Provide responsive customer support and field service when required Proficient in fiber optic splicing and handling Strong troubleshoot and problem-solving skills Familiarity with OTDR, power meter, and other fiber optic test equipment Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Effective communication and customer service skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) preferred Additional certifications in fiber optic technology or network cabling beneficial
