Job Description:
Astound, a leader in telecommunications, is looking for a Cable
Tech Lead who can spearhead our technical operations ensuring
top-notch cable service delivery. The Cable Tech Lead will oversee
the maintenance and installation of cable systems, resolving
complex technical issues, and leading a team of technicians. This
role is critical in maintaining our reputation for reliable
connectivity and innovative solutions, ensuring customer
satisfaction through effective management of technical resources
and adherence to industry standards. Oversee the installation,
maintenance, and repair of cable systems. Lead, train, and manage a
team of cable technicians. Ensure compliance with safety standards
and regulations. Troubleshoot complex cable system issues to ensure
minimal service interruption. Coordinate with other departments to
optimize service quality and efficiency. Prepare and maintain
accurate documentation and service reports. Manage inventory of
supplies and equipment. In-depth knowledge of cable systems,
including fiber optics and coaxial cable. Strong leadership and
team management skills. Excellent problem-solving and
troubleshooting abilities. Effective communication and customer
service skills. Proficiency with technical tools and software used
