Job Description:
Astound, a leader in telecommunications, is looking for a
dedicated Installation Technician to join our Technical &
Maintenance team. This role involves the installation, maintenance,
and troubleshooting of Astound’s advanced telecommunications
services, including internet, phone, and cable systems. The
successful candidate will ensure optimal system performance and
customer satisfaction by adhering to the highest standards of
service and technical expertise. Install, maintain, and repair
telecommunications equipment and systems, including internet,
phone, and cable services. Ensure installations meet company
standards and local regulations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues
with telecommunications equipment. Provide high-quality customer
service and support during installations. Educate customers on
system usage and troubleshoot minor issues. Prepare and maintain
installation documentation and service records. Collaborate with
the technical team to ensure efficient operations. Proficiency in
handling various telecommunications equipment and tools. Strong
understanding of wired and wireless network infrastructure. Ability
to troubleshoot and repair technical issues. Excellent customer
service and communication skills. Detail-oriented and capable of
following strict installation guidelines. Medical Insurance Dental

certifications such as Fiber Optic Installation, Cisco Certified
Technician (CCT) or equivalent are highly regarded.
