Job Description:
Astound, a leader in telecommunications providing cutting-edge
services such as high-speed internet, phone, and cable, is seeking
an Internet Technician Lead to oversee our team of technical
support specialists. This position will play a crucial role in
maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that supports our
services, ensuring optimal connectivity and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a strong technical background,
leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional
support in a fast-paced environment. Oversee daily operations of
technical support staff and internet connectivity issues.
Coordinate and lead the installation, maintenance, and
troubleshooting of internet services. Manage team schedules and
ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Develop and
implement strategic plans to improve service efficiency and
effectiveness. Train and mentor team members on the latest
technology and best practices. Collaborate with other departments
to integrate new technologies and systems. Prepare technical and
performance reports for management review. Strong leadership and
team management skills Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure
and wireless technologies Proficient in troubleshooting and
providing technical support Ability to work under pressure and make
informed decisions quickly Excellent communication and
