Astound, a leader in delivering high-quality telecommunications services, is seeking a skilled Cable Technician Lead to oversee and enhance our cable installation and maintenance services. This role is pivotal in ensuring optimal operation and customer satisfaction by effectively managing our team of technicians, streamlining processes, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising field operations, training new technicians, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring all projects comply with industry standards and company policies. Coordinate and lead cable installation and maintenance projects. Supervise, train, and mentor field technicians. Ensure compliance with all safety and operational standards. Manage inventory of supplies and equipment. Collaborate with the customer service team to resolve customer issues promptly. Prepare and review operational and incident reports. Troubleshoot complex technical problems. Proven ability to manage and lead technical teams Strong understanding of cable systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficient in using technical tools and software Ability to work in various outdoor environments Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Industry certifications from SCTE (Society for Cable Telecommunications Engineers) beneficial
