An exciting new opportunity has recently become available for a Nurse House Supervisor at a well respected Medical Center in Northern California

The Nurse House Supervisor will join a medical center that is well respected for high levels of patient care and close personal relationships within the community. Accredited by the Joint Commission, the hospital offers comprehensive services including inpatient and outpatient care, medical and surgical services, and diagnostic and emergency care.

The Nurse House Supervisor will serve as an integral part of the leadership team at this Hospital. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, this person will assume overall supervision of the hospital in the absence of the executive and administrative team. This position will collaborate with senior leadership, including the CMSRN Medical Surgical Manager, Intermediate Care Nurse Supervisor and CCRN Critical Care Manager  to ensure a seamless transition of authority each night and weekend.

The Nurse House Supervisor will serve as an integral part of the leadership team at this Hospital. The Nurse House Supervisor will assist in locating equipment and relieving staff as needed. This Position will be involved in a variety of departments. They will participate in educational programs, Inservice meetings and workshops, and self-management activities. An ideal candidate for this position will be knowledgeable and comfortable participating in planning nursing unit budgets. This position will also assist in the development and implementation of strategic plans for the department, the Administrative Nurse Supervisor will be required to provide the appropriate resources to help meet and exceed all departmental goals.
