Description Diagnostic Imaging Authorization Scheduler Specialist - Community Wide Scheduling Location: Eureka, CA Work Schedule: Full Time - 80 Biweekly Hours Shift: 8-hour, Days The Scheduler is accountable for scheduling various types of patient appointments from simple office visits to very complex surgical and medical procedures. This may include coordinating schedules with multiple providers, specialized equipment, and other specialized resources. Complexity of this position is evidenced by the use of simple and complex medical terminology and enterprise scheduling protocols. The scheduling specialist; displays professional interpersonal skills and presence when communicating with physicians, staff and the public; as the front-line customer service representative, upholds and exhibits the core values in all communication. It is essential that this information be documented timely and accurately. Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training - Successful completion of Medical Terminology Course and/or 1 year experience in medical schedulinge).
• 1 year Clerical experience or secretary in medical setting.
• BLS for patient care areas only. Preferred Qualifications:
