Job Title: Pharmacist Inpatient Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Inpatient Duration: 6 months Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 1 year, acute experience preferred License: Valid State License Certifications: RPh, CA license Must-Have: CPHt, IV, Compounding, Chemo/Hazardous Drug certifications Description: This assignment is for a pharmacist in an inpatient setting. The role requires acute care experience. First-time travelers are accepted. The job does not require on-call duty. Travelers will not need to float between different units. Local candidates are not accepted. Pending licenses are not accepted. Requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. The facility has the ability to call off once per two-week pay period. The total staffed beds in this facility is 150. Free parking is provided on the first day. Inpatient pharmacy technicians wear olive green scrubs. Charting is done in Epic. Travelers are required to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. The travel role may involve floating to nearby affiliate facilities if necessary. A minimum of two supervisory references covering one year of employment in a comparable specialty/setting is required. Travelers are required to have a valid state license in hand. Housing options in the area should be explored as they may be limited. Completion of modules is necessary prior to starting the assignment. All time spent on modules is self-reported and recorded. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.
